Content Design & Strategy
Overview
I led a content and UX website strategy for a new health and wellness clinic in Round Rock, TX, as the final project for a UX design course at UCSC Extension. Using user research and persona-driven insights, I designed clear, accessible content that enabled online booking, showcased provider expertise, and built trust. The result was a scalable site the client could manage easily—launched on time to meet urgent business needs.

Challenges & Solutions
Launch a Functional Website on a Tight Timeline
Challenge: The client needed the website to launch before their clinic’s opening date, leaving limited time for design, content creation, and testing.
Solution: I prioritized core features like appointment booking and service information, using an agile approach with fast iteration, frequent check-ins, and early stakeholder alignment. The site launched on time with essential features in place.
Client Updates after Launching
Challenge: The client wanted a site they could maintain post-launch without needing constant developer help.
Solution: I built the site in WordPress with a user-friendly backend, trained the client on basic edits, and created documentation to support future updates.
Unclear Service Descriptions for New Clients
Challenge: User testing revealed that customers were unsure which massage type to choose and what each included.
Solution: I redesigned the Services page to include categorized massage types with short, clear descriptions, reducing confusion and decision fatigue.
Results & Key Takeaways
This project strengthened my expertise in applying user-centered design methodologies, including information architecture, usability testing, and iterative prototyping, to create an intuitive and accessible website.
By analyzing user behavior and feedback, I was able to optimize user flows and enhance engagement. Collaborating with stakeholders emphasized the importance of clear communication, requirement gathering, and aligning UX strategies with business objectives.
Ultimately, this experience deepened my ability to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions that balance functionality with a seamless experience, driving both user satisfaction and client goals.
